Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an artificial silver surface having high flexibility, good adhesivity to a split leather and excellent heat resistance and abrasion resistance by kneading a mixture of leather powder, a synthetic resin and a polymeric compound having functional groups at both terminals. CONSTITUTION:The objective artificial silver surface is produced by compounding and kneading leather powder, a synthetic resin such as a one-pack type polyurethane resin and a polymeric compound having functional groups at both terminals. The kneaded material is hot-pressed to form a film. The film and a split leather are preheated in a hot-air drier and cold-pressed to bond the artificial silver surface to the split leather. The aerial transmission can be remarkably improved by adding silk fiber to the kneaded mixture.
