description PURPOSE:To reduce noise caused by air flow by locating a total-heat exchanger between the air intake port side of an air intake duct and the air exhaust port side of an air exhaust duct, and an air intake impeller in the air intake duct upstream the total-heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A total-heat exchanger 8 is located between the air exhaust port 2b side of an air exhaust duct 2 and the air intake port 3b side of an air intake duct 3. An air exhaust impeller 4 is located in the air exhaust duct 2 upstream the total-heat exchanger 6, and an air intake impeller 5 in the air intake duct 3 upstream the total-heat exchanger 6. These impellers 4 and 5 are driven by a motor 7. By this constitution, straightened air can be fed from the air intake port 3b into a room by the total-heat exchanger 6 so that turbulent flow is not produced on the air intake port 3b side, causing an abatement of noise caused by air flow. In addition, as the impeller 5 is provided, the downstream side of the impeller 5 can be designed longer, causing an abatement of noise caused by air flow. This is the same with the air exhaust side. Thus, noise caused by air flow is able to abate.
