Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enhance economical efficiency, corrosion resistance and endurable life by bonding a plate or foil-shaped material excellent in corrosion-resistant effect to the surface region of a steel structure easy to generate corrosion damage. CONSTITUTION:Either one of or two or more kinds of a plate or foil-shaped metal material excellent in corrosion preventing capacity such as stainless steel, copper, aluminum or titanium or a material such as ceramics or synthetic resins is bonded to a region easy to generate corrosion of a common steel material. For example, an adhesive is applied to the surface to be bonded of the base steel material from which dust, oils and fats and moisture are removed by washing and, thereafter, one plate or foil-shaped layer of [Cr]-containing austenite type stainless steel is bonded thereto or many layers thereof are bonded thereto while an adhesive is applied between said layers. By this method, a steel material excellent in execution properties and workability, requiring no periodic repairing as a corrosion-resistant steel structure, rich in economical efficiency, excellent in corrosion resistance and endurable life and especially excellent in seawater corrosion resistance is obtained.
