description | PURPOSE:To obtain a produce having favorable projected and recessed pattern by a method wherein projected pattern is given with foaming paint on foaming resin layer, which is laminated on base material, is preheated and, after the shaping of projected and recessed pattern is applied, foaming agent is decomposed and expanded by reheating so as to produce projected and recessed cubic pattern. CONSTITUTION:Projected pattern is given on the surface of foaming resin layer 2, which is formed on base material 1, with foaming paint so as to set the ratio of occupational formation area of the foaming paint to that of the foaming resin layer to be 10 - 75%. Next, both the resin layer and the paint are gelled by heating at the temperature, which is than the decomposition temperatures of their foaming agents and, in succession, embossed pattern 4 is formed with an embossing roll on the base material, on the surface of which the foaming resin layer 2 and the foaming paint are formed. By heating the resultant base material, on which the embossed pattern 4 is formed, up to the temperature, which is higher than the decomposition temperature of the foaming agents of both the resin layer and the paint, the projected pattern or the parts covered by the foaming paint are further encouragingly protruded by the expansions of the foaming agents of both the resin layer and the paint, resulting in allowing to reveal the projected and recessed pattern, in which the difference in levels of projection and recess is remarkable and sharp and which has cubic effect and, at the same time, high grade decorative effect. |
