TEM CELL

PURPOSE:To miniaturize the device and to facilitate its use by forming a center conductor almost trapezoidally, using the space surrounded with the inside part of the trapezoid and an external conductor as a test space, and producing an electromagnetic field in the space and setting a body to be tested. CONSTITUTION:The center conductor 4 is formed in the space constituted by being surrounded with the external conductor 3 so as to form a nearly trapezoid shape at the upper part, and the top base part of the trapezoid is positioned above the center part of the external conductor 3. This center conductor 4 is supported by a center conductor support rod 5 made of an insulator provided between the flank and top surface of the external conductor 3. The external conductor 3 and center conductor 4 are made of, for example, aluminum and steel. Thus, the large test space is formed of the lower part of the center conductor 4 formed trapezoidally and the reverse surface and flank of the external conductor 3, the electromagnetic field is produced in the space, and the large body 8 to be tested is set to conduct various tests.
