Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To automatically detect the staring direction of eyes without forcing a subject into a load by providing the function of a starting direction initialization and the function of the directional control of an emitted light to atomically follow the movement of the subject (operator). CONSTITUTION:As a preparing work, a starting direction initial value alpha0 is decided, and the fluctuation of the starting direction alpha of the subject is tracingly detected. When the staring direction of the subject is changed, the values of (x) and (y) are fluctuated along with, and even the starting direction alpha calculated by a starting direction calculating means 5 is fluctuated. In the middle of the detecting action of the starting direction, as a result that the subject is moved, when a reflected light from an eye ball (e) is not detected by a reflected light detector 2, the data of a detecting position (x, y) are not inputted to an emitted light control means 3. In such a case, by the emitted light control means 3, the direction, wavelength, etc., of the emitted light are changed, a direction theta, a wavelength lambda, etc., of the emitted light are changed until the data of the detecting position (x, y) are inputted again, the direction theta and wavelength lambdawhen the data are inputted are set to the emitted light control means 3 anew, and the calculation of the starting direction alpha is resumed. |
