As the holding heat in the poured molten metal is slowly lowered while conducting heat to the refractory brick 1 through the heat insulating buffering material 2 and the metal wool 7, the crack caused by heat shocking of the brick is not developed. Boundary face between the metal wool 3 and the poured molten metal in the produced causing 4 is not clear as the metal wool 3 is melted and the casting 4 and the brick 1 are formed into solid contacted state. |
