Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain hydroxyapatite whiskers contg. carbonate and having a great affinity for a living body and gaps into which a newborn bone tissue can penetrate by heating a soln. contg. calcium salt and phosphate in the presence of urea. CONSTITUTION:A soln. contg. calcium salt and phosphate is heated in the presence of urea to obtain hydroxyapatite whiskers contg. carbonate and having 40-200 aspect ratio. This aspect ratio is represented by l/[(a+b)/2] (where lis the length of the whiskers, a is the thickness of the whiskers and b is the width of the whiskers).
