GRIP HAND

PURPOSE:To make it possible to control at a high precision and a high speed if a power source is provided apart from a grip part and reduce the size and weight of the grip part by providing a speed reducing function for an interlock mechanism for performing opening and closing action of a pair of grip members. CONSTITUTION:A drive force of a drive source 2 is controlled by a control means 19 based on a detection output from distortion gauges 17 provided at a pair of grip members 5, 6 in a grip part 1. This drive force is transmitted by a transmitting means 3 to the grip part 1 through an interlock mechanism 9 equipped with a speed reducing function consisting of a feed screw 8 and a pulley 8a provided on the side of the grip part 1 to open and close the pair of grip members 5, 6. By thus transmitting the drive force, effects of friction and backlash can be reduced, while a loop gain can be increased if the grip part 1 is apart from the drive source 2, thereby control can be achieved at a high precision and at a high speed.
