A driving means 69 is then operated to rotate the winding roller 63 in the winding direction, and hence the filter cloth roller 64 is rotated in the rewinding direction by a synchronous rotating mechanism 68. The filter cloth 66 is cleaned by the washing water injected from a washing water nozzle 67 simultaneously with the start of rewinding, and wound on the winding roller 63 always as the cleaned filter cloth. When all the filter cloth 66 is wound, both rollers are rotated in the opposite direction. Since both ends of the filter cloth 66 are detained by a filter cloth mounting rod 71 through the notches 72 of the rollers 63 and 64 provided in the axial direction, the filter cloth is not detached from the rollers.
