description PURPOSE:To surely record speeches by starting voice recording operations when an off-hook detected output is produced while an incoming call is made and stopping the voice recording operations when an on-hook detected output is produced, and then, erasing recorded voices by means of a time-up output. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 14 detects the off-hook states of key telephone sets 41-4m through telephone set interfaces 131-13m. When an off-hook detected output is produced while an incoming call is made, the CPU 14 causes a voice recording circuit 17 to start voice recording operations and record speeches from a channel switch 12. When an on-hook detected output is produced, the CPU 14 causes the circuit 17 to stop the voice recording operations. Moreover, a timer is started to operate when the on-hook detected output is produced after talking is stopped on the incoming call and the recording content of the circuit 17 is erased by means of the time-up output of the timer. Thus a called subscriber can surely record his conversation with a calling subscriber without any special operation.
