Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To facilitate the manual steering operation by controlling the driving speed of a carrier vehicle based on the difference of rotational speeds between right and left drive wheels. CONSTITUTION:A difference speed arithmetic circuit 6 obtains a difference speed from the rotational speeds detected by the right and left speed sensors 7 and 8. A speed command circuit 5 changes the speed command signal received from a drive motor 3 based on the difference speed value obtained by the circuit 6 and reduces the driving speed of a carrier vehicle. As a result, the driving speed of the vehicle is slowed down as the rotational radius of the drive wheel is decreased. Thus the manual steering operation is facilitated.
