OFF-SHORE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To enable effective utilization of water, by a method wherein an off-shore structure, e.g. a ship, off-shore plant, is provided with a recovery tank to store spent water, a purifying device to purify recovered spent water, and a means to feed purified water to water utilizing facilities. CONSTITUTION:The middles of a drain pipe 2 through which water, e.g. rain water, on a deck 1 is drained to the outside of a gunwale and a drain pipe 7 through which water in a bath tub 6 is drained to the outside of the gunwale are branched and connected to a drain recovery pipe 11, and drain recovery pipe 11 is connected to a recovery tank 12. A pipe 13 for purification through which water recovered to the tank 12 for purification is circulated is connected to the recovery tank 12, and a circulating pump 14, a filtering device 15, and a sterilizing device 16 are mounted in the middle of the pipe 13 for purification. A first purified water feed pipe 17, through which purified water is fed to a purified water tank 18 and in which a water feed pump 19 is located is connected to the recovery tank 12, and purified water in the purified water tank 18 is fed to a cleaning device in a toilet 9 through a second purified water feed pipe 20.
