RELEASE AGENT

PURPOSE:To obtain a release agent capable of forming a treated film having excellent unrolling properties, adhesiveness, heat resistance, solvent resistance, etc., by mixing a specified graft polymer, a soluble polyester resin, and a polyfunctional isocyanate. CONSTITUTION:The title release agent is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. graft polymer (A) which has a silicone polymer on its side chain and comprises, e.g., a copolymer (a) of 2-50wt.% silicone macromonomer with an acrylic monomer, having a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000-1,000,000, or an adduct (b) of an acrylic polymer or cellulose derivative with 9-40wt.% silicone resin, having a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000-1,000,000; 20-300pts.wt. soluble polyester resin (B) having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-30,000; and 0.2-10pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. A+B, polyfunctional isocyanate (C). This release agent can be used for, e.g., treatment of the rear of a self-adhesive tape, preparation of a release tape for temporary sticking to a self-adhesive surface, and preparation of a protective sheet for the surface of a metal plate, etc.
