AUTOMATIC ANSWERING TELEPHONE SET WITH DISPLAY

PURPOSE:To recognize a time recording a message by storing a time at message recording in recording the message and displaying the time at reproduction. CONSTITUTION:When a call coming from an external line L is detected by an external incoming detection circuit 1, a CPU 12 records a message from a caller in a recording circuit 5. Then the recorded message is stored in a RAM 9 and the present time is read by a clock control circuit 10 at the same time and it is stored in the RAM 9 in pairs with the message. In case of reproduction, the recording time of the message stored in the RAM 9 is read and displayed on the display device. Thus, the time recording the message is recognized.
