Then, the inner wall of the fluorescent lamp 10 is coated with magnesium tungstate, zinc silicate and cadmium borate which are fluorescent material. The component ratio thereof is fixed by considering the spectral sensitivity characteristic of the color CCD unit 16 and the respective light emitting characteristics are obtained. When the color CCD unit 16 is combined with the fluorescent lamp 10, an image scanner 1 having a read characteristic which coincides with a naked-eye characteristic is manufactured. Thus, the color slurring of an original picture and a reproduced picture is eliminated and a reproducing picture color is faithfully reproduced as it is. |
