Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of continuity inspection by causing the optical variation of an electrooptic display cell with a driving voltage applied between a common transparent electrode and a measurement electrode at a position corresponding to a wiring pattern on a printed wiring board. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse voltage generator 20 applies a pulse voltage between the transparent electrode 17 and a conductor substrate 11, the pulse voltage is applied between the common electrode 17 and the measurement electrode 19 corresponding to a pattern 1a conductive to a pattern 1b according to whether the wiring patterns 1a and 1b on the top and reverse sides of the printed wiring board 1 are conductive normally or abnormally. Consequently, a liquid crystal cell 14 at the voltage applied position causes optical black variation. For the purpose, the black variation pattern of the cell 14 is observed from the outside to inspect whether or not the continuity state between the patterns 1a and 1b of the wiring board 1 is normal. Thus, the continuity inspection accuracy can be improved. |
