Zusammenfassung: | To provide a method of manufacturing a light-emitting device which enables easy adjustment of light emitted from a wavelength conversion element and downsizing of the device, and a light-emitting device.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a light-emitting device includes: arranging a light source 2 which emits short-wavelength light L1 having directivity, a waveguide structure 5 having a wavelength conversion element 3 including an incident end surface 31 and an exit end surface 32, and converting the wavelength of the light L1 incident from the incident end surface 31 and emitting the light L1 from the exit end surface 32, and an angle adjustment mechanism 6 which adjusts an angle θ1 between a first optical axis A1 of the light source 2 and a second optical axis A2 of the wavelength conversion element 3 in a predetermined plane; rotating the light source 2 relative to the wavelength conversion element 3 around a rotation axis C1 orthogonal to the predetermined plane to determine a target angle with which light L2 emitted from the exit end surface 32 satisfies a predetermined condition; and fixing the angle θ1 to the target angle by the angle adjustment mechanism 6. In the predetermined plane, the rotation axis C1 is positioned around the incident end surface 31 of the wavelength conversion element 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】波長変換素子から出射する光の調整を容易にし、小型化を可能にする発光装置の製造方法、及び、発光装置を提供する。【解決手段】発光装置の製造方法は、指向性を有する単波長の光L1を出射する光源2と、入射端面31及び出射端面32を有し入射端面31から入射した光L1を光L1の波長を変換して出射端面32から出射する波長変換素子3を含む導波構造体5と、所定面内における光源2の第1光軸A1と波長変換素子3の第2光軸A2との間の角度θ1を調整する角度調整機構6と、を配置し、所定面に直交する回転軸C1の周りに波長変換素子3に対して光源2を相対的に回転させることにより、出射端面32から出射される光L2が所定条件を満たす目標角度を決定し、角度調整機構6により、角度θ1を目標角度に固定する。所定面内において、回転軸C1は、波長変換素子3の入射端面31の周辺に位置する。【選択図】図2 |
