To provide an ink tank configured so that it can be inspected whether a lid part of the ink tank is normally attached or not.SOLUTION: An ink tank according to the present invention comprises: a first storage chamber having a supply port for supplying ink to a recording head that discharges ink, a second storage chamber having an atmosphere introduction port through which an atmosphere can be introduced; a partition wall partitioning the first storage chamber and the second storage chamber; and a communication path, provided in the partition wall, through which the first storage chamber communicates with the second storage chamber.
