To provide an exterior container that can suppress contents from being insufficiently poured out, while maintaining appearance performance, and a bag-in-box provided with the same.SOLUTION: An exterior container 10 according to the present invention stores an interior container 3 provided with a pouring-out part 31 that pours out contents S. The exterior container 10 includes: a front face part 11 and back face part 13 opposing to each other in a depth direction Y; a pair of side surface parts 15 and 15 opposing to each other in a width direction X; an upper surface part 17 and a bottom surface part 19 opposing to each other in a vertical direction Z; and a support plate 6 arranged to overlap with the bottom surface part 19 in the plate. An insertion part 20 through which the pouring-out part 31 is inserted can be formed in the front surface part 11. A lid part 22 that can be opened and closed is formed in the upper face part 17.
