ARTICLE CONVEYING FACILITY

To provide an article conveying facility that improves the efficiency of running of a carrier vehicle at an installation position of a lifting device and improves conveyance efficiency of the entire article conveying facility.SOLUTION: An article conveying facility comprises multiple carrier vehicles, a first running rail, a second running rail arranged downward of the first running rail, a lifting device having a lifting rail, and a control system. The control system performs, when a precedence request signal (Sdp) is received from a target carrier vehicle, pre-lift processing for moving the lifting rail to a target position on one of the conditions that there is no non-target carrier vehicle on the lifting rail and an entry request signal (Sdi) is not received from the non-target carrier vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】昇降装置の設置位置における搬送車の走行を効率化し、ひいては物品搬送設備全体としての搬送効率を向上させる。【解決手段】物品搬送設備は、複数の搬送車と、第１走行レールと、第１走行レールよりも下側に配置され第２走行レールと、昇降レールを有する昇降装置と、制御システムとを備える。制御システムは、対象搬送車から先行要求信号（Ｓｄｐ）を受信した場合に、昇降レール上に非対象搬送車がおらず、かつ、非対象搬送車から進入要求信号（Ｓｄｉ）を受信していないことを条件の１つとして、昇降レールを対象位置に移動させる事前昇降処理を実行する。【選択図】図５
