Zusammenfassung: | To substantially uniformly cool the entire area of illumination means by using one blowing means, and to prevent a situation where a foreign substance such as paper powder is attached to the illumination means and reading means.SOLUTION: An image inspection device comprises: illumination means 2 that is provided opposite to a conveyance path of a medium S along a width direction intersecting a conveyance direction of the medium S, and irradiates an image G formed on a surface of the medium S with light; reading means 3 that reads reflected light from the image G as image inspection information; and cooling means 4 that cools the entire area of the illumination means 2 along the width direction of the medium S. The cooling means 4 includes: one blowing means 5 that is provided on one side in the width direction of the medium S, and takes in outside air and blows the air; first guiding means 6 that guides the air blown from the blowing means 5 to a channel in a direction along the width direction of the medium S; and second guiding means 7 that guides the air guided by the first guiding means 6 to a space part in which the illumination means 2 is installed in a direction along the conveyance direction of the medium S, and distributes the air so as to make the volume of air uniform in the entire area of the illumination means 2 along the width direction of the medium S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】一つの送風手段を用いて照明手段の全域を略均一に冷却し、かつ、照明手段、読取手段に紙粉等の異物が付着する事態を抑制する。【解決手段】媒体Sの搬送経路に対向して媒体Sの搬送方向に交差する幅方向に沿って設けられ、媒体Sの表面に形成された画像Gに光を照射する照明手段2と、画像Gからの反射光を画像検査情報として読み取る読取手段3と、照明手段2の媒体のSの幅方向に沿う全域を冷却する冷却手段4と、を備え、冷却手段4は、媒体Sの幅方向の一方側に設けられ、外気を吸い込んで送風する一つの送風手段5と、送風手段5から送風されたエアを媒体Sの幅方向に沿う方向の流路に案内する第1の案内手段6と、照明手段2が設置された空間部に対し、第1の案内手段6にて案内されたエアを媒体Sの搬送方向に沿う方向に案内し、かつ、照明手段2の媒体Sの幅方向に沿う全域で風量が均一になるように配分する第2の案内手段7と、を備える。【選択図】図1 |
