To provide an MFP system including a master device and a slave device in which FAX reception is also possible from the slave device.SOLUTION: In an MFP system 10 comprising a master device MFP 101 and a slave device MFP 100, only the master device MFP 101 is connected to a FAX line. The slave device MFP 100, capable of communicating among a plurality of MFPs, includes an other-MFP transmission requester that makes a request to another MFP such that image data read by an image reader is transmitted by FAX transmission to a transmission destination that has been accepted by an operation acceptor. The master device MFP 101 includes an associator that, when an other-MFP transmission request is accepted from the slave device MFP 100, associates and stores transmission destination information included in the other-MFP transmission request with the slave device MFP 100 from which the other-MFP transmission request is accepted.
