Zusammenfassung: | To provide a chemical sensor equipped with a nucleic acid probe which is capable of measuring at high sensitivity.SOLUTION: A chemical sensor according to an embodiment comprises: a nucleic acid probe for capturing a target substance; a sensor element on the surface of which a nucleic acid probe is immobilized; and a liquid membrane covering the sensor element. The nucleic acid probe is a double stranded nucleic acid that consists of the first nucleic acid and the second nucleic acid bonded to the first nucleic acid, and the first nucleic acid is a single-stranded nucleic acid including the first base sequence, a second base sequence consisting of a base sequence complementary with the first base sequence, and a third base sequence whose one end binds to the first base sequence and the other end binds to the second base sequence. The second nucleic acid is a single-stranded nucleic acid which includes a fourth base sequence consisting of a base sequence complementary with a part of the second base sequence of the first nucleic acid, where the fourth base sequence binds to the second base sequence of the first nucleic acid.
