Zusammenfassung:To provide a water heater which can shorten a flow path for mixing hot water and cold water and enables space saving of the device.SOLUTION: A water heater 10 mixes hot water and cold water and supplies the mixed water. The water heater includes: a hot water inflow port section 3 into which hot water flows; a cold water inflow port section 4 into which cold water flows; a flow passage 5 in which mixed hot water obtained by mixing hot water and cold water flows; and an outflow port section 6 from which the mixed hot water flows out. In the flow passage, an inner peripheral surface 51 is formed into a cylindrical shape, the hot water inflow port section and the cold water inflow port section are formed on one end side of the flow passage, and the outflow port section is formed on the other end side of the flow passage. At least one of the hot water inflow port section and the cold water inflow port section is opened on the inner peripheral surface of the flow passage and has an outside wall section 31 (41) extending in a tangential line T direction from the inner peripheral surface of the flow passage in a circular flow passage cross section orthogonal to a center axis L of the flow passage, and a center axis L1 (L2) of the inflow port section is arranged to be closer to the inner peripheral surface side of the flow passage connected to the outside wall section with respect to the center axis of the flow passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】温水と冷水を混合する流通経路を短縮でき、装置の省スペース化を可能とする給湯装置を提供する。【解決手段】給湯装置10は、温水と冷水とを混合して供給するものであり、温水が流入する温水流入口部3、冷水が流入する冷水流入口部4、温水と冷水が混合した混合湯が流通する流通路5、混合湯が流出する流出口部6を備える。流通路は、内周面51が円筒形状に形成され、流通路の一端側に温水流入口部および冷水流入口部が形成され、流通路の他端側に流出口部が形成されている。温水流入口部と冷水流入口部の少なくとも一方の流入口部は、流通路の内周面に開設され、流通路の中心軸線Lに直交する円形の流通路断面において、流通路の内周面から接線T方向に延びる外側壁部31(41)を有し、且つ、該流入口部の中心軸線L1(L2)が流通路の中心軸線に対して前記外側壁部と接続する流通路の内周面側寄りに配置される構成を備える。【選択図】図2
