Zusammenfassung:To secure a proper amount of oil in a first storage chamber and a second storage chamber even if a vehicle changes in attitude and behavior diversely while forming a communication oil passage linking the first storage chamber and second storage chamber to each other.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a vehicle drive that comprises a rotary electric machine, a transmission mechanism, a case which has a first storage chamber, accommodating the rotary electric machine, formed on an axial first side and a second storage chamber, accommodating the transmission mechanism, formed on an axial second side, and a communication oil passage which communicates with the first storage chamber and the second storage chamber and in which oil flows, wherein a second oil reservoir space part where oil scooped up as gears constituting the transmission mechanism rotate is reserved is formed at a lower part of the second storage chamber, the case has a partition part which partitions off the first storage chamber and second storage chamber axially at least in part, and the communication oil passage runs below the partition part, and also has a first opening part open to the first storage chamber at a first position apart from the partition part toward the axial first side and a second opening part open to the second storage chamber at a second position apart from the partition part toward the axial second side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】第1収容室と第2収容室とを連通する連通油路を形成しつつ、車両の姿勢や挙動が多様に変化した場合でも第1収容室と第2収容室において適切な量の油を確保する。【解決手段】回転電機と、伝達機構と、軸方向第1側に回転電機を収容する第1収容室と、軸方向第2側に伝達機構を収容する第2収容室とを形成するケースと、第1収容室と第2収容室とに連通し、油が通る連通油路とを備え、第2収容室の下部は、伝達機構を形成するギヤの回転によって掻き上げられる油が溜まる第2油溜め空間部を形成し、ケースは、軸方向で第1収容室と第2収容室を少なくとも部分的に仕切る隔壁部を有し、連通油路は、隔壁部よりも下方を通り、かつ、隔壁部から軸方向第1側に離れた第1位置にて第1収容室に開口する第1開口部を有するとともに、隔壁部から軸方向第2側に離れた第2位置にて第2収容室に開口する第2開口部を有する、車両用駆動装置が開示される。【選択図】図1
