Zusammenfassung: | To obtain an electric power conversion device with which a capacitor element is efficiently cooled and the heat-induced degradation of the capacitor element is suppressed.SOLUTION: The electric power conversion device comprises a power module that has a module body part and a power terminal, a capacitor module that has a capacitor body part that accommodates a capacitor element and a capacitor busbar that projects from the capacitor body part and is connected to the power terminal, and a housing that accommodates the power module and the capacitor module. The housing has a first surface to which the power module is thermally connected, and a second surface to which the capacitor module is thermally connected, with a coolant flow path for cooling the first surface provided to the reverse side of the first surface. The capacitor busbar is thermally connected to the first surface, with the second surface disposed facing the normal direction, on one side of the first surface in a first direction, and closer to the normal opposite direction side than the first surface. The housing has a step between the first and second surfaces, with the coolant flow path disposed on the other side of the step in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
