To provide a light projection device performs a performance which draws the attention of a person who is far from an image area and does not make a person who is near the image area feel troublesome.SOLUTION: A light projection device 10 includes: a projection unit 14 that projects an image in a space within a facility; an information acquisition unit 12 that acquires position information about the position of an image area T1 where the image projected from the projection unit 14 is displayed and the position of the person in the space; and a control unit 15 that controls the projection unit 14 and the information acquisition unit 12.
