Zusammenfassung:To obtain an electric connector with a compact size, which can prevent the generation of an electric short circuit of contacts and is adopted to a connection of a power supply line.SOLUTION: A receptacle connector (1) is constructed comprising: a connector housing (30) having fitting concave parts (53a, 53b, and 53c) receiving a fitting projection part of a plug connector (7) which becomes a fitting mating; and three pairs of front and rear contact members (50 and 60). The first and second pair of contact members (50 and 60) comprise: first and second lead parts (51 and 61) provided in a manner to be exposed to a front side and a rear side lower part of the connector housing; first and second contact parts (56 and 66) extending along an inner surface in a longitudinal direction in the fitting concave part; and first and second intermediate parts provided by connecting the lead parts and the contact parts.
