TAP HOLDER

To provide a tap holder which can absorb not only errors in an axial direction but also errors in a rotation direction.SOLUTION: A tap holder (1) comprises: a tap holder body (2) which is attached to a spindle of a machine tool; a float shaft (4) which is held by the tap holder body with a gap in an axial direction and a gap in a rotation direction; a lock part (3) which is fixed to the tap holder body, and regulates the gap in the axial direction of the float shaft; a tap holding part (6) which grips a tap, and is attached to a tip of the float shaft in the axial direction; and micro-movement absorbing means (8) which absorbs micro-movements of the float direction in the axial direction and the rotation direction with respect to the tap holder body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】軸方向の誤差だけでなく回転方向の誤差も吸収できるタップホルダを提供すること。【解決手段】タップホルダ（１）は、工作機械の主軸に取り付けられるタップホルダ本体（２）と、タップホルダ本体に、軸方向隙間および回転方向隙間をもって保持されるフロート軸（４）と、タップホルダ本体に固定され、フロート軸の軸方向隙間を規定する係止部（３）と、タップを把持するものであり、フロート軸の軸方向先端に取り付けられタップ保持部（６）と、タップホルダ本体に対するフロート軸の軸方向および回転方向の微小移動を吸収する微小移動吸収手段（８）とを備える。【選択図】図２
