| Zusammenfassung: | To reduce the cost of a fixing member to fix a sheet loading unit and improve the workability in shipment.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder includes a sheet receiving unit 102 comprising a sheet loading unit 104 on which a sheet is loaded, a sheet feeding unit 103 that is placed above the sheet loading unit 104, for feeding the sheet loaded on the sheet loading unit 104, a sheet moving unit 105 that raises and lowers the sheet loading unit 104, and side plates 115 and 116 provided with an aperture 120 for internal access during loading of a sheet onto the sheet loading unit, for supporting side faces of the sheet receiving unit 102. A fixing member 126 for regulating the position of the sheet loading unit 104 is to be fitted over the aperture 120. The sheet loading unit 104, if the fixing member 126 is fitted over the aperture 120 in a state raised to a predetermined position, is regulated from moving in a lowering direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
