CASTER

To provide a caster configured to prevent a brake operation member or the like from protruding from a caster main body and then suddenly interfering with the other object.SOLUTION: The caster comprises a wheel 1, a caster main body 2 pivotally mounted with the wheel 1 rotatably around a horizontal shaft center L1, and a mounting base panel 3 that receives a ceiling wall part 4 of the caster main body 2 rotatably around a vertical one shaft center L0 and is firmly fixed to a carriage, which further comprises an operation pin 10 inserted through to be vertically movable along the vertical one shaft center L0. The operation pin 10 exerts a function of braking rotation of the wheel 1 by which a lower end face thereof presses an outer peripheral surface of the wheel 1 and a function of locking turning of the wheel 1 by which downward movements of the pin inhibits the mounting base panel 3 and the caster main body 2 from rotating relatively around the vertical one shaft center L0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】キャスタ本体からブレーキ操作部材等が突出して、他の物体に不意に干渉することを防止したキャスタを提供する。【解決手段】キャスタは、車輪１と、車輪１を水平軸心Ｌ１廻りに回転自在に枢着したキャスタ本体２と、キャスタ本体２の天井壁部４を鉛直状一軸心Ｌ０廻りに回転自在に受持すると共に台車に固着される取付台盤３とを、備えたキャスタに於て、鉛直状一軸心Ｌ０に沿って、上下動自在に挿通した作動ピン１０を、備え、作動ピン１０は、下端面が車輪１の外周面に押圧する車輪１の回転制動機能と、取付台盤３とキャスタ本体２の鉛直状一軸心Ｌ０廻りの相対的回転をピン下降作動によって、阻止する車輪１の旋回ロック機能とを、発揮するよう構成した。【選択図】図１
