To provide a wiring material capable of easily performing wiring work while efficiently absorbing tolerance.SOLUTION: A wiring material 1 includes a wiring material body 2 and terminal units 7a, 7b provided at both ends of the wiring material body 2. The wiring material body 2 is composed by connecting a bus bar 3 covered with insulating resin 15 and a flexible flat wire 5 at a connection portion 9a. The bus bar 3 is, for example, a plate-shaped member having a rectangular cross section, and is made of metal such as copper or aluminum (including an alloy).
