Zusammenfassung: | To provide a heat storage device and a heat storage method capable of reducing heat storage loss to increase effectively-used heat quantity, and capable of instantly responding to irregular demand for heat energy.SOLUTION: A heat release/storage method comprises: performing heat exchange between heated gas and heat source gas having a higher moisture content than the heated gas to warm the heated gas; during heat storage operation, bring the heated gas having undergone heat exchange into contact with a heat storage material, and extracting the gas having been brought into contact with the heat storage material from a system; and during heat release operation, bring the heat source gas having undergone heat exchange and the heated gas having not undergone heat exchange into contact with the heat storage material, and supplying the gas having been brought into contact with the heat storage material to a demand destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
