The inner housing 3 includes a front-side portion 3a and a rear-side portion 3b. Only the terminal accommodating chamber 30 of the rear-side portion 3b is opened in an opening direction Y1 perpendicular to the terminal insertion direction X1. A retainer 6 is slid in the terminal insertion direction X1 to be mounted on the inner housing 3, and a retainer main body 70 of the retainer 6 covers the rear-side portion 3b of the inner housing 3. At the time of slide and mounting, a pressing portion (pressing convex portion 61) of the retainer 6 presses a pressed portion 26 of the terminal 2 in a half-inserted state in the terminal insertion direction X1, whereby the terminal 2 can be corrected to a normal insertion state in which the terminal 2 is locked to a locking portion (housing lance 35).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16A-16C
【課題】組立信頼性の高いコネクタを提供する。【解決手段】インナハウジング3の端子収容室30に、端子2が前側の端子接続部21側から端子挿入方向X1に挿入される。インナハウジング3は、前側部分3aと後側部分3bとを含む。後側部分3bの端子収容室30のみが端子挿入方向X1と直交する開放方向Y1に開放されている。リテーナ6が、インナハウジング3に対して、端子挿入方向X1にスライド装着されて、リテーナ6のリテーナ本体70が、インナハウジング3の後側部分3bを覆う。スライド装着時に、リテーナ6の押圧部(押圧凸部61)が、半挿入状態の端子2の被押圧部26を端子挿入方向X1に押圧することにより、端子2を係止部(ハウジングランス35)に係止する正規挿入状態に矯正可能である。【選択図】図16A-16C |
