To provide a washing machine which improves the performance of supplying a detergent solution when an automatic feeding device is used.SOLUTION: A washing machine in the present disclosure includes: a casing; a washing tub provided inside the casing, for accommodating laundry; an outer tub rotatably including the washing tub; a water guiding passage for supplying water introduced from a water supply valve to the washing tub or the outer tub; a solution tank for storing a solution therein; and a solution automatic feeding device for injecting the solution stored in the solution tank into the washing tub. The water guiding passage includes: a first water passage for supplying water to the washing tub or the outer tub without allowing the water to pass through the solution automatic feeding device; a second water passage for supplying water to the washing tub or the outer tub through the solution automatic feeding device; and a retention part arranged below the first water passage and on the downstream of the second water passage, for retaining therein a detergent solution supplied from the second water passage.
