Zusammenfassung: | To provide a photoreactive polymer for an optical film exhibiting excellent refractive index anisotropy by polarized ultraviolet light irradiation or oblique incidence ultraviolet light irradiation, and heat calcination treatment dispensing with an oriented film, a monomer for the photoreactive polymer, and an optical film composed of the photoreactive polymer.SOLUTION: A photoreactive polymer has a constitutional unit including a photoreactive structure which reacts chemically by light irradiation, where the photoreactive structure is represented by the following formula (1). In the formula, a ring A, a ring B, and a ring C are independently an aromatic ring, a polycyclic aromatic ring, or a condensed ring-type aromatic ring each having an atom selected from the group consisting of C, N, O, and S as a ring constitutional atom, X is an alkoxy group, a halogen group, acyloxy group, or the like, Y is H, an alkoxy group, a halogen atom, acyloxy group, or the like, and S1 and S2 are independently a spacer group, or a single bond.SELECTED DRAWING: None
