TRANSMISSION SERVER, TRANSMISSION DEVICE, RECEPTION DEVICE, AND PROGRAM

To provide a transmission server, a transmission device and a reception device related to digital broadcasting, and a program that enable data retransmission in response to a retransmission request from a reception side by efficiently using communication, based on coded data of error correction codes used in digital broadcasting.SOLUTION: A transmission server 6 of the present invention inputs encoded data generated by a transmission device 2 (3) and stores it for a prescribed period of time, receives, via an IP network 8, a retransmission request packet generated when a reception device 5 cannot correct a bit error of the encoded data, adaptively performs coding rate conversion by puncturing processing according to a packet loss rate in the IP network 8 for the encoded data related to the retransmission request, and re-transmits the data to the reception device 5 by IP packet formation. The transmission device 2 (3) of the present invention sequentially outputs the encoded data to the transmission server 6.
