Zusammenfassung:	To provide a planar lighting device capable of maintaining optical characteristics, actualizing narrower framing, and securing the strength to support components.SOLUTION: The planar lighting device in the embodiment includes an optical member, a hole securing member, and a light-shielding reinforcing sheet. The optical member has a hole passing through a part of an emission face. The hole securing member has: a cylindrical protruded part fixed to the hole through a face on the opposite side to the emission face and fitted to an inner wall of the hole at a predetermined clearance; and a flange part ranging to the protruded part and opposed to the face on the opposite side to the emission face of the optical member. The light-shielding reinforcing sheet has: a plane part blocking the periphery of the hole through the emission face side, provided with an opening part corresponding to the protruded part, and corresponding to the flange part; and a bent part ranging to the opening part and covering an inner wall of the protruded part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】光学特性を維持でき、狭額縁化が図れ、部品を支持するための強度を確保することができる面状照明装置を提供すること。【解決手段】実施形態の面状照明装置は、光学部材と、穴確保部材と、遮光・補強シートとを備える。前記光学部材は、出射面の一部に貫通した穴を有する。前記穴確保部材は、前記出射面と反対側の面から前記穴に固定され、前記穴の内壁に所定のクリアランスをもって嵌る筒状の突出部と、該突出部に連なり前記光学部材の前記出射面と反対側の面に対向する鍔部とを有する。前記遮光・補強シートは、前記出射面側から前記穴の周囲を塞ぎ、前記突出部に対応する開口部が設けられる、前記鍔部に対応する平面部と、前記開口部に連なり前記突出部の内壁を覆う折曲部とを有する。【選択図】図５
