The method uses a wet-treated leaf, which is a wet body that is in a wet state as a water-insoluble component contained in a leaf of a plant of Bambusoideae (Poaceae) holds a basic aqueous solution, to produce a plant leaf-derived product, which is a product derived from the leaf of the plant. The method includes a water adding step (S202) for adding water so that the wet-treated leaf is at least partially immersed in water, and a neutralization step (S204) for bringing the water added in the water adding step into contact with a cation exchange resin to bring the pH of an aqueous component held by the wet-treated leaf near to the neutrality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
