To provide a railway vehicle which has a passenger room ceiling panel whose height is easily adjusted in a vertical direction when attaching the panel and maintains a beautiful appearance of the passenger room.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle is characterized of it that a stationary member 24 has a first vertical part 262a extending in a height direction of the railway vehicle 1, a ceiling panel 31 has a coupling member 35 connected with the stationary member 24, the coupling member 35 has a second vertical part 35a parallel with the first vertical part 262a, one vertical part of either the first vertical part 262a or the second vertical part 35a has a penetrated long hole 262b which has a longitudinal direction in a height direction and a position of the coupling member 35 in the height direction against the stationary member 24 is arbitrarily adjustable in a length range in a longitudinal direction of the penetrated long hole 262b by a bolt 37 which not only is inserted through the penetrated long hole 262b but also is fixed to the other vertical part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】天井パネルの取り付け時における高さ方向の位置調整を容易に行うことができ、客室の美観を保つことができる鉄道車両を提供すること。【解決手段】固定部材２４は、鉄道車両１の高さ方向に延在する第１垂直部２６２ａを備えること、天井パネル３１は、固定部材２４と結合する結合部材３５を備えること、結合部材３５は、第１垂直部２６２ａと平行な第２垂直部３５ａを備えること、第１垂直部２６２ａと第２垂直部３５ａのいずれか一方の垂直部は、高さ方向に長手方向を有する貫通長孔２６２ｂを備えること、貫通長孔２６２ｂに挿通されるとともに、他方の垂直部に結合されるボルト３７によって、固定部材２４に対する結合部材３５の高さ方向の位置を、貫通長孔２６２ｂの長手方向の長さの範囲内で、任意に調整可能であること。【選択図】図２
