FACE MASK

To provide a face mask capable of sufficient heat insulation or sun-shading measure for the face and the periphery of the neck when performing sports or outdoor work or going out, and also capable of heat-proofing measure such as against heat stroke and cold-proofing measure.SOLUTION: A face mask 1 is made of a cylindrical woven fabric and comprises: an expansion/contraction part 11 that has a rubber string 21 stored therein; a covering part 13 that covers around the neck of a wearer; and an air-permeable mask part 12 that is provided between the expansion/contraction part 11 and the covering part 13, and covers at least the nose and the mouth of the wearer. The rubber string 21 is stored inside the expansion/contraction part 11 in a state of being wound around an upper edge part of the face mask 1. The covering part 13 includes: a storage part 31 that can store a heat accumulation material (or a coolant) 33; and at least one insertion opening 32 that inserts the heat accumulation material (or the coolant) 33 inside the storage part 31.
