SLIP BASE ISOLATION DEVICE

To provide a slip base isolation device with a friction material attached to a spherical seat or a movable surface of a movable body, in which the friction material is attached to the movable surface in a wrinkle-free manner, and the attachability of the friction material to the movable surface is excellent.SOLUTION: A slip base isolation device 50 has: a pedestal 10; a spherical seat 20 disposed on a surface of the pedestal 10, and comprising a first concave spherical surface 23; a movable body 30 comprising a first convex spherical surface 31 housed in the first concave spherical surface 23, and a second convex spherical surface 32 on the opposite side of the first convex spherical surface 31; and a sill 40 comprising a second concave spherical surface 42 on which the second convex spherical surface 32 slides. A first friction material 24 is attached to either the first concave spherical surface 23 or the first convex spherical surface 31.
