Zusammenfassung:To provide a vehicle travel control device capable of securing appropriate travel even in the case that a plurality of pedestrians or the like are continuously recognized in front of an own vehicle like a downtown area or the like in congestion.SOLUTION: A traveling_ECU 22 recognizes a group of movable bodies showing a similar pattern behaviors set in advance among three-dimensional objects recognized in front of an own vehicle M as a movable body group on the basis of travel environment information, integrally recognizes the movable body group as an obstacle in the case that the movable body group exists at a position closer to the own vehicle M than other three-dimensional objects, calculates an expectation value on the basis of the behavior of each movable body constituting at least the movable body group when the own vehicle M stops with an emergency brake with a movable body group desired to be recognized as an obstacle, and permits the own vehicle M to perform a restart even if an objective distance L is less than a set threshold Lth when the expectation value becomes equal to or more than the set threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】混雑時の繁華街等にように自車両の前方に複数の歩行者等が連続的に認識される場合であっても適切な走行を確保することができる車両の走行制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】走行_ECU22は、走行環境情報に基づいて自車両Mの前方に認識されている立体物のうち予め設定された類似するパターンの挙動を示す移動体を一群の移動体群として認識すると共に、移動体群が他の立体物よりも自車両Mに近い位置に存在する場合には移動体群を障害物として一体的に認識し、認識したい移動体群を障害物として自車両Mが緊急ブレーキにより停止しているとき、少なくとも移動体群を構成する各移動体の挙動に基づいて期待値を算出し、期待値が設定閾値以上となったとき、対物距離Lが設定閾値Lth未満であっても自車両Mの再発進を許容する。【選択図】図5
