ABSORBER AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE

To provide an absorber having preferable absorbency and wearing feeling and an absorbent article comprising the absorber.SOLUTION: An absorber 10 is used for an absorbent article and absorbs and holds body fluid of a wearer of the absorbent article. The absorber is a laminate formed of: a first absorber 10A being arranged on a skin side of a wearer and including fluff pulp as an absorbent substrate; and a second absorber 10B being provided on a non skin side of the wearer and including no fluff pulp. The second absorber 10B comprises a high absorbent sheet 15, and a hydrophilic sheet 20 wrapping the high absorbent sheet 15. The high absorbent sheet 15 comprises: a substrate non woven fabric 11 having a raised surface 11a whose surface is raised; and a high absorbent polymer 12 fastened and carried between raised fibers 11x of the raised surface 11a of the substrate non woven fabric 11. The substrate non woven fabric 11 has an opening 16 extending in a longitudinal direction, in the absorber 10.
