EXTERNAL MECHANISM FOR ENDOSCOPE

To provide an external mechanism for an endoscope easily attached to or detached from an operation part of an endoscope, which can prevent an occurrence of a failure when foreign matter such as dust invades and adheres to a mechanism part for electrically curving a curved part.SOLUTION: An external mechanism 10 for an endoscope includes: a curved wheel 41 that is engaged with a second UD knob 3g arranged in a sub-operation part 3S of an endoscope 1; a motor part 30 for generating driving force for rotating the curved wheel 41; a storage case 11 having a case inner space 11S for storing the curved wheel 41 and the motor part 30, in which a knob arrangement part storage part 11e for covering and storing the sub-operation part 3S is provided in a part of the inner space 11S; and a lid member 12 connected to the storage case 11 so as to be openable and closable with a hinge for closing a storage space opening 11m in a state that the storage case 11 is attached to the sub-operation part 3S, serving as an attachment/detachment fixing part for attaching/detaching the storage case to/from the sub-operation part 3S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A 【課題】内視鏡の操作部への取付け取外しが容易で、塵埃等の異物が侵入することによって該異物が湾曲部を電動で湾曲させる機構部分に付着して不具合が発生することを防止する内視鏡用外付機構を提供することを目的にしている。【解決手段】内視鏡用外付機構１０は、内視鏡１の副操作部３Ｓに配置された第２ＵＤノブ３ｇに係合する湾曲ホイール４１と、湾曲ホイール４１を回転させるための駆動力を発生させるモータ部３０と、湾曲ホイール４１とモータ部３０とを収容するケース内部空間１１Ｓを有し、該内部空間１１Ｓの一部に副操作部３Ｓを覆って収容するノブ配設部収容部１１ｅが設けられた収容ケース１１と、収容ケース１１に対してヒンジによって開閉自在に接続されて、収容ケース１１を副操作部３Ｓに着脱自在にするための着脱固定部を兼用して副操作部３Ｓに装着された状態において収容空間開口１１ｍを塞ぐ蓋部材１２と、を具備している。【選択図】図６Ａ
