The plate-like part 100 includes: a glass substrate 110; and an organic functional layer formed on one face of the glass substrate 110. The organic functional layer includes a light-emitting layer. It is supposed that when the plate-like part 100 is curbed in a prescribed curvature direction to make one face 102 of the plate-like part 100 a concavely curved face, and the other face 101 a convexly curved face, one of both faces of the glass substrate 110, which is located on the side of the concavely curved face is referred to as "first face 111" and further, the thickness of the glass substrate 110 is T. When the plate-like part 100 is curved in the prescribed curvature direction to make the one face 102 of the plate-like part 100 a concavely curved face and the other face 101 a convexly curved face, a compressive stress is applied to a part (compressive stress-generation part 112) in the glass substrate 110 at a position of which the distance from the first face 111 is L(L>T/2) or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】発光素子が有するガラス基板の割れを抑制する。【解決手段】発光素子は、可撓性の板状部100を備えている。板状部100は、ガラス基板110と、ガラス基板110の一方の面側に形成された有機機能層と、を含んでいる。有機機能層は、発光層を含んでいる。板状部100を規定の湾曲方向に湾曲させて、板状部100の一方の面102を凹曲面、他方の面101を凸曲面とした際に、ガラス基板110の両面のうち凹曲面側に位置する面を第1面111と称する。ガラス基板110の厚さをTとする。板状部100を規定の湾曲方向に湾曲させて、板状部100の一方の面102を凹曲面、他方の面101を凸曲面とした際に、ガラス基板110において第1面111からの距離がL(L>T/2)以下の部分(圧縮応力発生部112)に圧縮応力が加わる。【選択図】図1 |
