Zusammenfassung:	To provide an image formation apparatus and image formation method which can suppress the hindrance to a conference due to a printing job from the outside regardless of the presence/absence of an operation to an operation unit when the conference is held in a conference space in which the image formation apparatus is arranged.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a reception unit which receives a printing request for a printing job from the outside; a determination unit which determines whether or not there exists reservation information including the date and time of receiving the printing request by the reception unit among the pieces of reservation information indicating a time zone in which the use in a conference of the image formation apparatus is reserved; and a printing control unit which does not execute the printing based on the printing job at least under such a condition that the determination unit determines that there exists the reservation information including the date and time of receiving the printing request by the determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】画像形成装置が配置された会議スペースにおいて会議が行われている場合に、操作部への操作の有無にかかわらず、外部からの印刷ジョブによって当該会議が妨げられることを抑制することができる画像形成装置および画像形成方法を提供する。【解決手段】外部から印刷ジョブについての印刷要求を受信する受信部と、画像形成装置の会議での利用を予約した時間帯を示す予約情報のうち、受信部により印刷要求が受信された日時を含む予約情報が存在するか否かを判定する判定部と、少なくとも、判定部によって印刷要求が受信された日時を含む予約情報が存在すると判定されたことを条件として、印刷ジョブに基づく印刷を不実行とする印刷制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図５
