Zusammenfassung: | To provide a geothermal power production process using a closed loop system.SOLUTION: A process for producing electric power includes injecting a first heat transfer fluid through an injection well 100 to a geothermally-heated formation 200 that contains a second heat transfer fluid. The first heat transfer fluid is heated via indirect heat exchange in an interwell run 110, which is fluidly connected to the injection well, and disposed within the geothermally-heated formation. Thermal energy contained in the recovered first heat transfer fluid is converted in a power production unit 140 that is fluidly connected to the injection well and a production well 120. The interwell run, in some embodiments, includes a plurality of heat exchange tubes disposed within a sewing machine casing or drill pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
