Zusammenfassung:To provide a friction material which has excellent friction characteristics stable even at normal temperature and in a temperature region higher than about 120°C, and can be mass-produced.SOLUTION: A friction material which is an injection molded product of a thermosetting resin composition containing a phenol resin, an inorganic fiber having Mohs hardness of 5 or larger and an inorganic filler having Mohs hardness smaller than 5, and has characteristic of (a static friction coefficient at 150°C.)/(static friction coefficient at 25°C.)≥0.90, and a friction material that is an injection molded product of a thermosetting resin composition containing 30 to 50 vol% of inorganic fiber having Mohs hardness of 5 or larger, each 5 vol% or larger of at least 3 kinds of inorganic filler of Mohs hardness smaller than 5, 15 to 45 vol% in total, and 30 to 40 vol% of a phenolic resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】常温でも120℃程度より高温の領域においても安定した良好な摩擦特性を有し、量産が可能な摩擦材を提供すること。【解決手段】フェノール樹脂、モース硬度5以上の無機繊維及びモース硬度5未満の無機充填剤を含有する熱硬化性樹脂組成物の射出成形物である摩擦材であって、(150℃における静摩擦係数)/(25℃における静摩擦係数)≧0.90である特性を有する、摩擦材、及び、モース硬度5以上の無機繊維を30〜50体積%、モース硬度5未満の無機充填剤を少なくとも3種をそれぞれ5体積%以上、合計15〜45体積%、フェノール樹脂を30〜40体積%含有する熱硬化性樹脂組成物の射出成形物である摩擦材。【選択図】なし
